Cycle Plug.
The Omega Pressure Cycle Plug was developed in 1994 and has established an enviable record as one of the most reliable and versatile pump open assemblies available.
Operating in overbalance or underbalance situations, the Omega Pressure Cycle Plug is designed to operate in most pressure cycle situations, including those were high pressure tests and low operating pressures are required. Typically run below a Lock Mandrel, the Pressure Cycle Plug can also provide operational flexibility when deployed below a Retrievable Bridge Plug.
When deployed on either methods, the Pressure Cycle Plug forms a bi-directional barrier. Repeated pressure cycles applied from above will result in the tool opening to give a large bore flow area through the assembly. In addition the Pressure Cycle Plug may also be opened manually using a prong.
