Wireline Sample / Drive Down Bailer.

The Omega Sample / Drive Down Bailer has been designed to maximise the retrieval of debris / sand and / or fines that may be causing an obstruction in the tubing or casing.

Two configurations of the Bailer are available; a spring loaded flapper version, and a ball version. Both designs consist of 3 main components; the Top Sub, the Bailer Tube, & the Bottom Shoe.

Entry of debris into the Bailer Tube is assisted by a shallow lead-in on the Bottom Shoe, and on the ball type, additional bypass around the ball.

At the top end of the Bailer Tube fluid bypass holes allow fluid displacement to occur. This displacement maximises the volume of debris entering the Bailer and ensures the full volume of the Bailer Tube is utilised for debris retrieval.
