ME-Retrievable Bridge Plug / Packer.

The ME is a high performance retrievable bridge plug/packer for remedial workover applications that incorporates a high expansion solid rubber element and a powerful anchoring module. The tool has been designed with a large bore that will serve as an internal junk catcher when the tool is used as a bridge plug. Further junk extensions can be added at the bottom of the tool for increased displacement of well debris.

The slim design enables the ME to pass restrictions found in most wells, and makes it a good candidate for wells with scale build-up. The tool is equipped with high expansion bi-directional seal and anchor elements that can be set/retrieved in cross flow. The seal is a solid (non-inflatable) elastomeric element. The ME can be used in temporary or permanent applications.

Retrieving the tool is achieved by straight upward pull using a GS style retrieving tool. There is no need for separate pressure equalising actions (downward movement, prongs etc) as the equalising assembly has been made an integrated part of the release mechanism.
