Sliding Sleeve.

The Omega Sliding Sleeve is a permanently installed flow control device which when manually actuated, allows the opening or closure of flow from a zone or communication from tubing to annulus.

The sleeve may be configured in a shift up or a shift down to open format. In both cases, pressure equalization is not required as the sealing system features “Zenatec” technology, withstanding sudden pressure surges without damage to the seal stack. An associated nipple profile provides a location for additional flow control or plugging devices plus a seal area for an isolation sleeve if required. The profile may be compatible with any manufacturer.

An Omega selective shifting tool is used to open and close the sleeve allowing selection of an individual sleeve in an installation where there may be many sleeves. The shifting tool may be run on Slickline, e-line (with a tractor), coil or on pipe.

The sleeve will accept a full range of tungsten carbide choke beans where flowing control of the well is required. These may be altered or reconfigured immediately prior to running.
